From the moment our group began the ascent, Paulo Joshua demonstrated his extensive knowledge and experience on the mountain. He was constantly attentive to our needs, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and safe throughout the journey. His unwavering patience in handling our questions and concerns was truly admirable, as he made sure to address each with compassion and understanding.What truly set Paulo Joshua apart, however, was his magnetic personality. He had a unique ability to energize the entire team and keep our spirits high, even during the most challenging parts of the climb. In Kili, you’ll find yourself surrounded by support, starting with the porters, guides, cooks and of course your group members! Whether you’re feeling dizzy from the lack of oxygen or too tired to continue, someone will eventually show up without you asking for it. An unforgettable journey!
When someone gives their best and perfectly organizes a demanding expedition, I can only give them 5 stars. It wasn't easy to handle 45 hikers, but these guys are the best. I give special credit for finding a balance between fun and safety while always making us feel like part of a huge family. Kilimanjaro Expedition 2019
I had the honor of having Paulo as my mountain guide during my hike back in New Year 2019. It was an unforgettable experience and her made it very smooth. We were a big group of 16 people yet he cared for each of us individually. He gave me the help and support I needed when things got challenging on the mountain. Greatest memories!
Wow!! This trip will go down as one of the BEST! Not only did Kilimanjaro amaze my whole group of 6 women but I don’t think it would have been as special without Paulo and his team! From day 1, they were professional, kind, fun and engaging! They have become our family and we still keep in touch with Paulo and team members today, through social media! They had everything we needed to successfully and safely summit, took extreme care of us, and we all had fun doing it! It was a tearful goodbye! A great hike on the Rongai route
We climbed the Rongai route up Kilimanjaro with Paulo and team in October and can’t recommend him enough! Everything was perfectly organized and we felt safe and prepared the entire time. Excellent organization
Golden Peaks made my trip to Tanzania something to remember my entire life. The group was big, but it all went smoothly, the organization was perfect. It was a prirority for them to bring every person to the summit and for us to feel welcome in this beautiful country. We felt like a family, we were introduced to beautiful Tanzanian culture every day of the hike and made lifelong friends.
